Our purpose is to select, develop and train Indian students to successfully compete for professional artistic positions in the animation marketplace.

To accomplish this, we provide an internationally designed and approved animation program; through our world-class Webel Animation Animation Academy in Kolkata, taught by industry professionals from India and abroad. We provide classroom and work experience programs to prepare the students for entering the workforce and we assist them in finding appropriate positions to match their talent.

WEBEL
Webel is a premier institution of excellence in electronics and technology under the state government of West Bengal located at Bidhan Nagar, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Webel is the nodal agency of the Government of West Bengal for implementing various programmes under its IT Policy. It also acts as the single-window agency for all IT/ITES investors of the state. Webel helps companies in obtaining building space on rent/lease and in purchase of land. It also interacts with government bodies such as BSNL (Last Mile connectivity), WBSEB (power connections) and the local municipality (building clearance) etc. to streamline the associated routine follow ups for getting the clearance at the earliest.

Webel Animation Academy is located at a purpose-built building at Salt Lake Electronics Complex, Kolkata. The 85000sq.ft Webel Animation Academy possesses state-of-the art resources which include the latest software’s and technologies meeting international standards, a most-modern library with a wealth of information in the form of books, scripts, videos, DVD’s, journals, CDROMS, press kits, newspaper clippings related to the subject and also an highly resourceful national and international faculty.
